About BOTC
A game of distrust, trust, and murderous intrigue in your hometown village
What is Blood on the Clocktower?
Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game for 5 to 20 players, in which a small village is haunted by a Demon. Every night someone dies — and the remaining villagers must find out who among them hides the evil before it's too late.
A Storyteller guides the entire experience. They are not a player but a neutral narrator who pulls the strings and ensures that every round is a unique experience. Unlike similar games, no one stays passive on the sidelines — even eliminated players retain influence on the game.
With over a hundred unique roles, various scripts, and a vibrant community, Blood on the Clocktower offers endless replayability. Whether beginner or veteran: every round writes its own story.

How Does a Round Work?
Each round consists of three phases that repeat until evil is defeated — or the village has fallen.
The Night
Everyone closes their eyes. The Demon chooses their victim and information roles receive clues from the Storyteller. Poisoners poison, guardians protect — all in secret.
The Day
The village awakens and learns who did not survive the night. Now it's time to discuss, suspect, bluff, and share information — or deliberately withhold it.
The Vote
Players can nominate each other. The village votes and whoever receives the most votes is executed. But beware: even an innocent can end up on the scaffold.
